"Underwater - School Heading East" is one in a series of paintings that depict an imaginary world under the sea.  It is an encaustic painting that uses melted wax, pigments and a variety of techniques to express my inspiration.  This process uses many layers of wax, embedding gold and copper metal leaf, and drawing/transferring imagery onto the surface. 4x4"
